Healing Juice Recipes + How To Use Your Leftover Pulp!

In need of some TLC? Whether it’s your body or mind that needs a detox or some fast healing, juicing is an effective way of getting essential nutrients straight into the parts that need it most. Surprisingly, celery is a fantastic strengthener of connective tissues, and citrus fruits aid in healing bruises. Apples are a wonderful way to detox the liver, and the optional manuka honey will boost the immune system significantly. i9f you don’t own a juicer, you can also use these recipes as smoothies instead, which means you’ll get the added benefits of fiber too!

Healing Green Juice
Makes 4 servings:

  • 4 sticks celery
  • 2 green apples
  • Handful fresh parsley
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 grapefruit
  • 1 orange
  • half a cucumber
  • approximately 4 inches of fresh ginger
  • Optional extras: Wheat grass, or barley grass powderGood For: Bruises, detoxing, muscle and ligament healing, bone healing, energy, removing impurities from the digestive tract, improving skin health

Healing Citrus Shots
Makes 4 servings:

  • juice of 1 lime
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Approximately 4 inches of fresh ginger
  • High quality manuka honey or raw honeyGood for: Bruises, detoxing, muscle and ligament healing, energy, immune boost, metabolism, digestion

How To:

Juice all ingredients and drink as soon as possible to obtain the most nutrients.
