Overnight Hormone Balancing Breakfast

bfastWith simple yet powerful ingredients, this breakfast is easy to prepare and provides a healthy dose of hormone balancing benefits. The healthy fats, plant based protein and natural sweetness help balance mood and energy levels, and can be left to set overnight so you can grab and go in the morning!


  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp ground flax
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tsp cacao or cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 crushed cardamom pod
  • 1 tbsp shredded coconut
  • milk of choice
  • 1 handful blueberries


  1. Add all ingredients to a container and add enough milk to cover completely
  2. Stir well for a minute or so, and add more milk if the liquid is absorbed straight away (the chia seeds will continue soaking up the liquid over night so leave things with more milk than you might think is needed)
  3. Leave overnight to set
